April 2022

Dear Families,

We all hope that the Easter half term break is going well.

Normal hours for the Homework Club and one to one tuition will resume from Monday 25th April at 3,15.

Extra topics for the until the end of the Spring term are

  1. History into writing: we will be learning about the Feudal System and Henry VIII residency here at Hampton Court. This will be our usual practice of combining Art&Crafts, research and writing using prompts (depending on the age of the child)
  2. Science into writing: a few children are fascinated by planets so we decided for the second topic to be Our Galaxy and beyond.

Reading Club

Children will be given a new reading list according to their age and reading ability. The Reading club meetings last between 10 and 15 minutes and will take place on Wednesdays. Your child is encouraged to read books from our reading list and additional work will be carried out whilst at the Club. Please note that participation to the Reading Club is your child’s choice although we encourage all children to take part.

Please note that participation to the Reading Club is your child’s choice although we encourage all children to take part.

Please remember that we teach the children, we do not simply mind them. Kind Regards
